Cold as Ice.

With Kanye West being one of my favourite artists, I feel it only fitting that I make a quick post about his recent shows, where he has taken a shine to donning high end couture. It isn't breaking news that Kanye West takes pride in his appearance with an evident love of high fashion and european styles, however in recent shows he has elevated this love by staging Gaga-esque performances. Having attended the Watch the Throne Tour earlier this year (probably one of the best nights of my life) I can say without one shadow of a doubt that he gives his absolute all in staging these theatrical and visually stunning shows.

Feeling Festive!

After hitting the boxing day sales HARD today and spending far too much of my Christmas money, I realised that I hadn't posted anything in a while. Well, firstly I would just like to say that I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! I certainly had a lovely day spent eating gargantuan amounts of food, drinking extraordinary amounts of mulled wine and playing the family fortunes board game with my relatives (competition brought out the worst in me)... Anyway this was just a quick post to wish you all happy belated Christmas! Below are just a few pictures from mine:

Fashion Moment

Christmas is always a hectic time, especially when it comes to getting work done. As part of my Fashion History unit at University, we had to create a magazine spread in the style of Colin McDowell's "Fashion Moment"(a piece that appears regularly in the Sunday Times). Shown below is my final piece. I can now breathe a sigh of relief and relax over Christmas until next year...

Semester One

As i'm sure you are all aware, I have been MIA for quite some time now and have been lagging in the blogging department. I can only put this down to it nearing Christmas and having absolutely no spare time to sit down and post. With Christmas approaching, I have finally finished my first semester at university, and I can say that without one shadow of a doubt - I love it. Shown below are just a few pictures that I would like to share with you of my time at university so far!

I cannot wait to come back in 2013 for my second semester!

Martin Margiela for H&M

The arrival of autumn - via an indian summer - always gets me thinking about diverse colours. This time last year we were greeted with strong shades and prints at the announcement of Versace's collaboration with Swedish high street store H&M. 

However, this year Belgian design house Maison Martin Margiela are set to deliver us a collection that reflects the true essence of winter glamour.

The collection doesn't land in stores until November 15th, which gives you plenty of time to add to your Christmas List (I know mine is looking pretty full already). Glittery leggings and their signature Camel coloured coat are of course a part of the collection. Martin Margiela looks set to bring winter fashion to life this year; at a price that everyone can afford no less.

Styling Work for Craig Hemming!

So the other day, I was given the opportunity to style a photo shoot for my friend Craig Hemming. The shoot was part of the imaging unit for his course at university (Fashion Promotion and Imaging) and turned out exceptionally well! The aim of the shoot was to create a set of images that reflect the House of BOTB Fall 2012 collection which you can take a look at here. The models that we used are two amazing girls: the beautiful Chloe Barnard who I share a flat with here at uni in Epsom, and my gorgeous best friend Charlotte Brown who has her own blog that you can view here! Craig is an amazing photographer and has produced some amazing work on numerous occasions (see credits below):

Second Attempt

Hi, my name is Jorge Harvey. I'm just another Fashion misfit trying hard to belong. I live in London where XXS is still too big; but that never stopped me. I have an unhealthy obsession with one particular Olsen twin. Props if you can figure out which. Careful, i'll do the jokes!
